Just wrapped this print last night. Five colors, 9x12”, edition of 50. I’m pretty darn proud of it. Print Club members will get first dibs this week, and next week I’ll be offering it on my shop.
These prints are all part of Cosmic Forest, but I’ll be keeping some secret til July. In the meantime, I’m going to be part of a little group show at the printmaking studio I work at, Bite Studio. It opens on Friday— so if you’re free and in Portland, stop on in!
I can’t wait to get my editioning stamp!

The boyfriend and I went to the Da Vinci - The Genius exhibit yesterday at the Science Center of Iowa. It was a pretty cool exhibit, but felt like more of a REALLY well done book report than a museum exhibit. Nevertheless, Leonardo was a pretty awesome dude and I can’t believe how much he did while he was alive.
It strengthens my belief that you don’t have to choose one discipline, focus on it and do that one thing well. I HATE when people say that.
If Leonardo can be a killer painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer, I think I can become a master at more than one thing in my lifetime.
